Magazine

We produce 6 magazine tapes per year, which include a variety of non-news items, taken from such print publications as Dalesman, Yours magazine, Choice and Saga. Sometimes we include interviews on the magazine, or articles written by our own members.

The magazine tape is longer (90 minutes instead of 70) and the articles are usually a little longer as well. The magazine editor usually chooses his/her own readers, but otherwise the magazine is recorded and copied in the same way as the weekly news tapes.

The magazine tapes are sent out with the weekly tapes, and most are returned within the week, but if a listener wants to keep the magazine for a week or two longer this is not a problem as there are 8 weeks between magazine recordings.
