Audio Books

Our library of audio books is for loan to our listeners or any one who qualifies for the talking newspaper.

We have a large selection of books on tape. These include classics, thrillers, mysteries, novels, light romances, comedy, information and travel tapes.

Unlike the newspaper these tapes do not have to be back each week, but we do like them back within the month so that they are available for other people.

When we get a new listener we will send them a list of our books either on tape or in large print. They then send us a list back of which tapes they want and we will send them one of their selection each time they return the previous one.

We keep a record of who has had which titles so that we can avoid sending the same book twice unless the listener requests it a second time.

This job is done on a Thursday morning.
